Hello Quaker,
This is my first complete Quake map project.
Please enjoy it, but I ask that you please e-mail me and let me
know what you honestly think of it. I am currently leaving a promising
grad school track to seek a career in games development, so you could
really do me a favor by giving me as much feedback as possible. If you
are looking for a map or graphics designer, consider this a piece of
my portfolio. You can reach me at bagwell@brain.bns.pitt.edu. Since I
am leaving grad school soon, this e-mail address may expire. If that
happens, do a web search on my name, which should reveal where my home
page is currently located...
I have played this map so many times, I feelthat I am not really able
to judge its quality objectively any more.
I would very much appreciate any feedabck about the gameflow and
quality of the map. Please keep in mind that the default skill level
is medium, so check out the easy and hard settings too, by typing
skill 0, skill 1 or skill 2, etc. at the console. I have made some
effort to really make easy and hard just so.
I have deathmatch-tested this map with 16 reaper bots, and it's
pretty darn fun.
Also, if you see me playing Quake, I go by Paul_Bunyan, userid 14824
on Revco's Quakeworld master server (don't laugh at my skill, I never
said I was the best deathmatcher around, and my pings bite...)
This is the first map in a series of castles that I am designing,
which will form an episode in the end. If you would like to help
me out (hint, hint) please contact me. I really could used some
help. At this rate, Quake 2 will be out before I finish this project...
PS - I think the secrets are hard to find -there's one
in the sewers and one in the room with the super nailgun (sort of
accessible from the room with the splat! trap.)

on a server, please e-mail me first. If you distribute this map,
include this file. What the hell, e-mail me anyway and tell me what
you think. I have spent two months of my life's free time making
this map, so PLEASE at least humor me.
